Hello BT players who read this, I think this game can be unfair to some builds.
I am using the assassin build and cannot use weapons because I don't have the correct stats.
I alwaays need some stat points in something else, such as if I wanted to buy the Falchion, I would need some points in guard. This is completely against my assassin build which is body and rush.

Solutions:
Remove the required stats from weapons and make it level only.
Create weapons for each type of build.
Add a difficulty slider to dungeons.

Thanks for reading.

Forgot to mention the reason its hard it because I have weak weapons, and I can't really do much about it.
The dungeon difficulty is done automatically by your level I'm assuming, the game would be assuming you have level-appropriate gear.

I realized I had typos and can't edit my posts.

I do agree with you that players shouldn't need certain stat to use gear, though you're still able to be pick where your skill points are going, you won't be able to become a pure (in this example) Glass cannon (body+rush) so a level requirement only would've nice.

Well, if this happened there wouldn't a lot of class diversity if all the players with the build used the same weapon and gear. There should be drops that can roll random affixes to make more builds based off gear and not only stat points.

Hmm, there's difference in difficulty between the current 'runs' (Dungeon and Forest), and you get more EXP/Gold for doing higher difficulty? Then I could just set the difficulty on Forest higher so I could use the Blaze sword and do more fire damage rather than doing another monster type where my weapon would not be nearly as efficient. Not sure if I'd want that, I'm more fan of the removing stat requirement on gear then everyone can get the gear without having to spread out their points to the stats they don't want.

Thanks for the response, I guess the only viable option would be to remove the stat requirements.

I didn't read over your entire post, but I don't think putting one stat point into another stat is unreasonable every five levels, unless you can give me some specifics.

Fair point, I'm still against it.
Its not build friendly and most people don't plan ahead on the stat points they'll use. They'll go for a build and that's it.

Yeah, most people don't. The main players are kids, which means I definitely need to guide them a bit. They'll thank me when they can use a spell without having to level up in the future, though. ;)
