Instead of having exp when completing dungeons you should have exp for every monster killed. That way when you run into double monsters you can earn more exp.

I've battles dungeons with double monsters but ended up getting less exp then a dungeon with just single monsters.

Exp is based off monsters killed + level + difficulty.

That's not true, I had hendo runs where i had 3 lil hendos and I got 19 EXP while I had another run with 2 Mav hendos, warrior hendo, and lil hendo where I got 13 EXP :P It's random from what I've seen

I'll do some testing, I know for a fact that it's not random, but the amount per monster might be too random (which is affecting that) or I made a code error.

I'll definitely look into it after this patch.

Could you do it based on the level of the monsters? For example -
lv 1 - 5exp
lv 2 - 10 exp
lv 3 - 10 exp
lv 4 - 20 exp
lv 5 - 20 exp
lv 6 - 20 exp
lv 7 - 25 exp
so on and so forth?
