A cool feature battletale could have is if you could summon creatures to help you out in battle. Creatures would require summoning points(SP) to summon and they would have unique ways they would benefit you in a battle. You would get SP after killing a monster with higher level monsters giving more SP per kill. The max amount of summoning points you could hold at a time would be equal to your level x2. This would prevent lower level players from using the more powerful summons. Summoning would add new elements to the game and new summons could be bought/acquired as drops/from the lottery. Various summons could be:
Scanbot: Scans a monster to reveal its elemental resistances and stats. After scanning a creature a bubble permanently appears next to its head that allows you to see the stats/resistances of that type of monster at any time during combat. Would be a default summon available to all players.
Healing Kuppi: Removes all debuffs and status effects and gives the target regen status which regenerates a certain portion of your max health per turn. Could possibly be obtainable from lottery.
Warrior Kuppi: Deals physical/non-elemental damage to all enemies and buffs the attack of all friendly characters by 50%. I suggest that buffs are stackable so that if you already have a 20% buff it would stack to 70%. Buffs and debuffs would decay by 5% per turn. Debuffs would be capped at 50% while buffs would be capped at 100%.
Protector Kuppi: Buffs defense of all characters by 50%. Gives "Defend" status(Reducing damage taken by 50% for the turn) to all friendly characters.
Elemental summons: Deals a moderate-large amount of damage (based on SP cost/rarity) to all enemies. Each elemental summon could be obtained as a rare drop from the respective dungeon. For example, King hendo could drop a "King hendo" summon which would deal a moderate amount of dark damage to all enemies. Trellvale could drop a "Trellvale" summon which would deal plant/leaf/poison damage to all enemies. The trellvale summon would deal more base damage and cost more SP than the King Hendo summon since the forest is a higher leveled area.
Holy Kuppi: Revives a member on your team with 30% hp. If target is already alive, give auto-revive status for X turns. Auto-revive would automatically revive you when you die with 30% hp if you happen to die with the effect active.

very fine ideas, i also think the ability to summon a player should be added, the player being summoned can either accept or decline the summon.Posts: 50

maybe that can require like a summoning scroll or a card?

Also i would like to add that damage from summons would scale off of your level and would not be affected by attack or magic damagePosts: 16
