I think it would be cool if some fire weapons had a debuff on the enemy to cause fire damage over time or a nature weapon to have a debuff of poison damage. Also when you add more spells add buff spells such as strength or regeneration.Posts: 78

If this is done so, other elements should have a similar 'buff' as well, to keep it fair and even. However, i sill think it's too early for the game and other prominent features can still be implemented first.Posts: 138

It used to be that each weapon caused a specific attribute way back in the early days before it was BattleTale. Fire did DoT damage, but I don't think it's the right way to go. Yes, weapons should have chances of causing things like "burn" (what it was called) that does DoT, but it shouldn't be tied to the element, it should be a property of the weapon. It opens up more diversity.Posts: 433
