I was working on adding the click on the darkened area to close the window feature, but it feels awkward in a lot of windows, and didn't feel like it belonged there, some it felt OK. When you're using windows in game, where does it logically make sense to add it? Also take notice that people may just be clicking to regain focus of the game window like when switching tabs and such.
Just open windows and tell me where it makes sense to add, where you can feel yourself clicking the background to close the window.
It feels cool on the character, crafting, mail and settings. What I've noticed I'm really tempting to do is when I'm in my inventory instantly switching to something else character for example. So that you can be in your inventory and click on the character icon to instantly switch.
