If you had a stat choice to replace defense, what would it be and what would it do?

How would it affect battling and equipment?

the "Luck" stat. Luck would increase the chances of rare drops after dungeons

A spell called "CRITICAL" as you can already infer. It has something got to do with critical damage. This stat basically increases the chance of you getting more critical hits in-game. And critical hits have about 5-10 more damage than your usual damage range. Critical hits also come randomly, if you are lucky, then you hit it on a boss, if you're not then maybe just a little hendo. It doesn't really have much effect on the player himself but more much on the game. This may come out a little unfair if the chances of critical damage are high and or the damage is increased too much. Therefore, here are a few ways to stop it.

1 - Limit the number of times a player can upgrade this stat.
2 - Allow the player to only add to this stat every 2-3/4-5 levels.
3 - The chances of critical damage should be low probably a 1% from the start / the amount of critical damage will increase with a small-scale which corresponds to the amount of stats the player contribute to "CRITICAL".
