Create sounds for BT

While I finish up coding for other parts, if anyone has any suggestions for sounds for ingame sound effects for actions (whispers, battle requests, battle declines, kick etc), here's a way to actually design it and share it so I can test it.Posts: 433
1. Download sfxr (about 50 kb, google it)
2. Select a generation, then select the noise tab (because it doesn't sound 8 bit like the rest options)
3. Press randomize to keep generating random sounds from that customization
4. If you find a good sfx sound you like and think it can fit in the game, press save sound and upload the .sfs file.
5. Post the action that should make the noise and a link to the sfs file.
Things to know:
Don't make it annoying, no one wants to hear "blurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrphhhhh" everytime you get a user message, generally notification sounds are supposed to be very short and not very noticeable/annoying, think about skype / msn / your favorite IM program or game. I won't be using it for non notification sounds, like attacking with weapons or sword / shield clashes, or dodging sound effect with sfxr or something. I just don't think it does a realistic job with normal actions, it's great for notification sounds IMO. If you find something that you think is perfect, feel free to share, but I doubt you'll be able to.
