This game doesn't eat up much resources with this few people... It looks like either his client was desynchronized (which can be fixed by refreshing) or that he was experiencing network lag.
What happened was the King won because if a player skips 5 turns in a row he will be automatically dropped from the match as if he is dead.
I plan to add an indicator to help people know if they are lagging in game. Paladin didn't seem to be lagging, so it's hard to figure out the issue.
